Writing about this new generation of women who want to take charge of the letters, the recent article in The Independent features Lady Gaga as one of its Princess Pop!
“I wanted to write a record of people affected,” said Gaga. “One thing that is shameful and totally, 100 percent bubblegum pop, but avant-garde and pop art Andy Warhol in the way that they really strive to be. I want to make pop music business, but is considered art,” he adds.

Lady GaGa joined the Re*Generation homeless youth organization at a pre-concert visit to Eva’s Phoenix, a Toronto youth shelter.
The break out Bowie-esque singer wore her full stage out fit to the shelter where she took a tour of the facilities and hung out with the kids, posing for photos and signing autographs.
Lady GaGa visited Eva’s Phoenix in Toronto on a tour stop; she’ll travel to Mexico next and finish her tour in the US.
