Fresh off the national tour, Lady Gaga will take the road once again! This time, she will be opening for the Pussycat Dolls in Europe, New Zealand and Australia! Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 12! Stay tuned for details!

Plus, Lady Gaga was appointed to the 51st Grammy Awards in the category Best Dance Recording for her smash hit ‘Just Dance’. This appointment marks the singer’s first Grammy Award nomination.

Fame, was released in August in Canada, Australia and other European countries, peaking at number 5 in Canada and 7 in Australia. On 28 October, 2008, Lady Gaga released ‘Fame’ in the U.S. The album reached # 17 on the Billboard Top 200 albums. Her first week sales were 24,000 units. Next week the album fell to # 52. It also debuted at number one on the Top Electronic Albums chart. Immediately following the dance, the album has given birth to the promo single ‘Beautiful, Dirty, Rich.’ Her music video for her second single ‘Poker Face’ was published on October 22, 2008, quickly becoming a top ten hit in Canada, a three wins in Sweden and a # 1 hit in New Zealand and Australia as its second # 1 single to date in Australia. The song has so far peaked at # 25 on Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles (# 125 Billboard Hot 100).

A chart topper across America, Europe and beyond, Lady Gaga is coming to the UK.

Her debut album ‘The Fame’ and its electro-dancefloor-riot single ‘Just Dance’ land on these shores in early 2009, and which has just been confirmed as the support act for Pussycat Dolls at its UK and Ireland arena dates in January and February 2009. The tour starts in Aberdeen on 18 January 2009, has two dates at the O2 Arena in London on 27 and Jan. 28, and ends in Liverpool on February 6.

Physical formats continue to January 5, 2009. The debut album,’ The Fame ‘, is released on January 19 2009 in the UK.
